This is one of ways I make tubes with peel-ply textured surface. Special fabric can be used to get 0 degree layer or just another program. I write G-Code by my own so layup is customable.
When you want to bond carbon fiber tube into carbon steel or alloy joint it is good to insulate them with thin glass fiber fabric.
Sand with P80 or P120 grit
Mix fast resin (10-30min) like: West System 105+205 or Pro-Set LAM135+LAM224
Apply resin onto fabric first.
Coat the bonding surface.
Apply glass fiber.
Wrap with peel-ply and compression tape.
Also this manual works for adding outer carbon fiber fabric (up to 4 layers). You may need it to reinforce clamping areas and bottleholder holes.
